EXAMINATIONS
Some important rules regarding the examinations are depicted as below:

B.A., B.Sc., B.C.A., and LL.B. are three year degree courses while
M.A., M.Sc. are two year degree courses and B.Ed. is one year degree course. in
B.C.A,; B.B.A., M.Sc. (Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biochemistry) the
examinations are semsterwise while all the other examinations are annual.

The admission of a student to second/ third year will be only on
passing first / second year examination. The admission to the first year of a
degree course will be made only on passing the qualifying examination.

No student will be entitled to claim the degree unless he/she
secures the minimum required marks separately in theory as well as in practical
in all the subjects as listed in the rule no.5 below.

For the award of the degrees the aggregate of the marks for the
different classes is as below:
B.A. and B.Sc.

Note :In case of B.Ed. the division in theory as well as in the
practical will be separate

Important: Those who have done two year degree course before 1985 and
want to take admission in B.Ed. or post-graduate course have to undergo a
bridge-course which will be almost identical to third year course . After that
only they will be eligible to take admission in any post-graduate class. The
marks obtained in the bridge-course will not be added to admission index while
taking the admission. Back-paper facility is available only once. if
unsuccessful in Back-paper, full examination is to be given.
